Jim Phelps

Jim Phelps is the Political & Grassroots Director for the Texas Credit Union League.  He has worked with financial institutions in roles ranging from operations to lending to strategic planning.  As a Director for the League, Jim is responsible for working with member credit unions across Texas to participate in crucial advocacy initiatives .  A self-professed "political junkie", Jim never misses an opportunity to visit with credit unions to explain the importance of political involvement and share what is happening on the political scene.  

A native of the Chicago area, Jim is a graduate of Northern Illinois University.  He currently lives in the Dallas Area with his wife, Lisa, and their two children Zach (11) and Laine (9).
