  • Some faculty may do pre-course surveys. It is important to respond when these are sent. Also, if there are specific areas you would like to see addressed in the classrom, email Janine direct for consideration:

1st Year Students - Requirements
(Must be complete and submitted for school receipt by June 1, 2010)

  • Financial Statement Exercise Part 1 & Part 2
  • CUNA STAR Module S320  Credit Union Financial Analysis (scroll down on website to see course)
    • If your credit union does not subscribe to CPDOnline - take advantage of the 30-day Free Trial Period
    • Email or FAX copy to test results to Janine McBee (jmcbee@scms.coop or 469.385.6734)
  • Register for at least one social media website and come to class with one idea on how to use the site to attract new customers or retain current customers to your credit union. There are some sites set up for school use if you would like to try one of these.

2nd Year Students - Requirements

  • Project work must be submitted in a passing format no later than April 30, 2010.
  • Read The FIVE DYSFUNCTIONS of a TEAM by Patrick Lencioni 

3rd Year Students - Requirements & Recommendation

  • The financial management SI must be submitted to Deborah Rightmire in passing format no later than April 30, 2010.
  • The complete project be submitted in a passing format no later than May 10, 2010. Once the project has received final approval from John Vardallas and tuition has been paid, you may request your oral presentation group and time slot.
  • Each student is encouraged to prepare for the Scenario Planning course by thinking of several scenarios which might directly impact the credit union in the near or long-term future.
