Winter D. Prosapio is the Communications Director for Advocacy at the Texas Credit Union League. She has a long history of issue advocacy, best known for her work on lawsuit abuse at the nation’s most successful and innovative tort reform group, San Antonians Against Lawsuit Abuse. Winter is a noted expert on crisis communication, public and media relations and strategic communications.

Winter operated as an independent consultant for over a dozen years, advising fortune 100 clients on both public relations and marketing. In her “other” life, she’s also a published and award winning writer, with a Hill Country humor column and essays that have run everywhere from Spirit magazine to the Christian Science Monitor.

She has two wonderful daughters, Sierra (9) and Mireya (5) she attempts to keep in tow with the help of her husband, Adam.
