Benefits of attending SCMS
  • Sense of Accomplishment
  • Broadened Perspective
  • Applied Knowledge
  • Powerful Network
  • Strategic Resources
  • Professional Presence

When I made the commitment to enroll in this program I expected to be stretched and to be challenged. I have to say, nothing to date has fallen short of that expectation. Last week, one session in particular stood out to me, Investments. While sitting in that class, my initial reaction was one of discouragement because I felt as though I should have known more about the information being shared. This isn’t an area that I have had much exposure to in my current role or any role I have held in the past for that matter. After about 10 minutes of thinking this way, it hit me like a ton of bricks! I signed up for this experience to expand my knowledge in areas that I am not as familiar and that was what was happening. This curriculum (all sessions attended) has provided me the foundation to build upon in order to expand my knowledge even further. It is already changing the way I go about my current role and how I communicate with my leadership team.
