Millicent Mayaka currently serves as the Director of Quality Control for InTouch Credit Union in Plano, Texas. In this role, Mayaka is responsible for ensuring that the Credit Union is compliant with all mortgage, home equity and indirect auto loan regulations. Mayaka also performs several other key functions critical to the Credit Union’s ongoing focus on regulatory compliance, such as BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) initiatives.

Mayaka’s career path has included time spent in both the Bank and the Credit Union industries. She started as a Bank Teller in 2000 and since has held various positions including Personal Banker, Branch Manager and most recently, Assistant Vice President of Regional Branch Operations for Texas. In her position as AVP over Texas, Mayaka oversaw the Texas retail branches for InTouch Credit Union prior to transitioning into her new role in Quality Control.

Mayaka has been certified by the American Bankers Association in Branch Management and Sales Management as well as by CUNA as a Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE). In 2013, Millie was the recipient of the highest award from the Southwest CUNA Management School, their Award of Excellence.

Mayaka is passionate about leadership, growth and development, taking the time to mentor staff and other leaders to recognize opportunities they have to make an impact by bringing about change within the organization.
