Craig Piercy, Ph.D., is a senior lecturer of management information systems in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and the director of the Master of Business and Technology program. Piercy has also served as the academic advisor for the Southeast Regional Credit Union Schools. His primary area of research is improving decision-making in the face of complex decisions involving multiple objectives. He is a co-author and contributor to information systems and business textbooks and is a creator of online educational media. He has also worked as a process improvement engineer, consultant, and systems developer. He holds a doctorate in management and decision sciences and a Master of Business Administration, both from the Terry College of Business. He also earned a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Tennessee Tech University. After a three-year stint as an assistant professor in computer science at Towson University, he returned to the University of Georgia as a faculty member. Piercy has also worked as a process improvement engineer in the textile manufacturing industry.
